I couldn't even figure out how to start the game? I mean I can launch it, clicking on Start plays a sound but nothing happens. I pressed every button on my keyboard and the game just won't go past the main menu... w and s moves up and down the 4 options, d and a moves between twitter, patreon and the 4 menu options. Enter does nothing, someone said E is the interact button but it doesn't launch the game from the menu.

10/10 experience.

yep had the same problem [Spacebar] is the button for other enter interactions

now the problem I see is that I can't seem to unlock any new positions after the first one, supposedly there's a shop but our lad can't seem to leave his house.

Hey Guys I'm the developer Artist, Animator of the game been working tirelessly on for a year and a half now the screenshots dont do it justice in terms of what we got in game and I really dont want this game to be tainted right out of the gate here, we got so much cool shit goin on in terms of animations, style redesigns, ui, gamplay etc. Please don't write this game off based on a demo that hasn't been updated in over a year

Again, for the sake of all the work Ive been putting into it for the past year that no one has seen yet please don't write it off yet

THIS DEMO IS A YEAR AND A HALF OLD AND DOES NOT REFLECT THE CURRENT STATE OF THE GAME, THIS DEMO BUILD RIGHT HERE IS SO FUCKIN TERRIBLE COMPARED TO WHAT WE GOT LMAO

if anything Id ask f95 to be a lil bit patient, we're slating for a huge meaty demo debut at the end of this or early next month

Seems like it has potential.
I agree that this should probably not be available yet. Even if this demo is over a year old that means that we have no access to anything really worth mentioning. Let them develop it or get a version with some real content. Either way a waste of time at this moment.

HI, really like your art and think you're making a really cool game, though I would recommend you probably remove this demo, for the time being, you already have a 1-star review and no one really seems to know the controls. I think your game would get a better reception if you only had the previews up for the time being.
also, you said this is 1.5 years old, so it doesn't really represent the game as it is.
I think it would be cool if you could swap the MC face for All Might or Ichigo just for the lols.
Edit: I hope you can get it removed

Thank you for the kind words Im kind of devastated that the reveal to the f95 community is a shitty tech demo from 2020 after working so hard for it to not be another shitty unpolished porn game I really hope someone deletes this thread soon

I prefer to see the old stuff to be honest. I know looking back at where you've been can be painful as an artist and certainly I can see you wanting the old demo to be de-prioritized, but some people who like your spark will have found you from the old work. As someone who has been in this space since /weg/ was 10 shizo posters with a pastebin, i can tell you nothing is worse than a dev gutting their old catalogue/game of the original content. Something in the old stuff is always charming and missed.

I'll be following you with great interest, but please don't purge your older work.

i think the impression is fine. Its a tech demo and nobody should expect a tech demo to be anything other than that, a proof of concept. What really strikes me is the art style. It's unique and interesting and even if you don't like this thread being here it does expose people to it. With a new demo around the corner people will eventually come back to it and give it another chance when the preview shots have been updated. IIRC you can request ownership of the thread as a developer if you apply for it and can edit the opening post with additional information and what not.

The basis is really tongue in cheek and the art style reminds me of old newgrounds flash animation.
If this sounds like an insult I promise you it isn't, its got my attention for standing out. And the girl is the kind of room dwelling gremlin that pushes my buttons, so I'll look forward to what comes of it!
