I hope if you play the game right, that eventually you can get the mother. I think in the setting it'd make sense, because you can give planet of excuses of the MC either deliberately doing pervy shit with the mother and using the excuse of the cover, or if you were able to kinda toe the line where she wants to keep her cover but since you've broken down some of her barriers (without straight ntr) she'd accept it as a better alternative. There's PLENTY of options for integrating the mother into something other than a plot device.

Sure but if you mess up too much you get a game over. Trying to balance between getting to see the NTR scenes without getting a game over sounds like it could be annoying but at least the dev is saying it won't be.

Just pointing it out but dialog doesn't really make sense at several points unless we assume the MC and or organization are all idiots. For example...
There are several instances where they ask the MC about his step father and step sisters personalities. Like one point where Tank straight up asks if his sister is always grouchy and neither option has the correct and obvious response of IDFK? If he never met his mother before how is he expected to know about her family? As far as anyone should be aware he's only known them for maybe a day or 2. His acting like he does is an obvious slip and would ruin things instantly. If anything MC should be asking Tank.
Might be intentional but it seems a little too obvious a goof to me. (Edit: Intentional by the dev. A goof for the MC to not notice.)
It definitely has potential though. I do wish we got more than sprite poses in every scene but I understand its faster and easier to do. I just hope that over time we can get more actual scenes than sprites.

Unfortunately while I did like the Tyrant, I didn't believe the idea that the player character would willingly share the women. However desperate times call for desperate measures.
This will not be an interracial focused game but a game with interracial elements.

Ideas evolve. Things change.
The Game Over mechanic is considered a Bad End. This will kick you back to the Main Menu as usually a Bad End occurs because the families cover is blown and so the Accounting Department eliminates the moles. How the eliminate the moles will change based on the choices made in game. All Bad Endings are based on player choices however some are more apparent than others. I wanted this experience to have stakes and therefore choices are important to both the story as well as to the player progression. Make no mistake, this story is set in a dangerous situation and making a major mistake can and will end the mc's life.
The Netorare mechanic is intended as mitigating/corrupting influence depending on the player's decisions. If the cover is damaged by the player decisions then Cecilia will try her best to distract from it. This actions go against her wishes as she is a very loyal and conservative woman however she understands the danger the entire family is in, intimately, and is willing to sacrifice her modesty if it increases the chances of the investigation and keeping everyone safe.
Meta Explanation:
The player choices reflect the story. If the player is extremely good at maintaining their cover then Netorare content will be limited if not excluded entirely. This leaves the player open to engage with the Love Interests that appear in the game without too much interference from the AD.
If the player is not good at maintaining their cover then the Netorare content will appear as a result of Cecilia trying to desperately distract from the player's decisions. Netorare content will increase in spread and scope over time. Keep in mind the Mc does not want this to happen so the story and dialogue will reflect those desires.
Bad Ends are just that. Endings to the story because the player made too many bad decisions.
Overly simplified TLDR:
2 paths. Vanilla and Netorare. High cover = Vanilla, Lowering cover = Netorare, Too low cover = Cover Blown: Game Over Bad Ending.
Agreed. I have to wonder though, if NTR is too narrow a focus for what is described here. It feels more like a general corruption ending. NTR ending normally means the woman leaves/goes behind her husband's back to one man or more. Here it feels more like a general loosening of morals. Just my take, admittedly, but I haven't seen anything about choosing between characters or defending the love interest from specific people, just the blanket 'keep/lose cover' concept.

Blocking desired content because a player plays the game as intented seems counterintuitive and bad game design to me. The story is about keeping up a cover, so being good at it should reward the player with the content he wants to see.
Also, your basic idea of the mother "seducing" the bad guys so they "miss" all the slip ups should only work on stupid thugs - which your bad guys are not supposed to be, as far as I can tell - and, at least in my opinion, makes the mother the active, sexual part in their power dynamics; so it probably will end up in another "mother slut" story.
In my opinion, the difference between NTR and vanilla should not be in a variable that can lead to a game over (the cover), but in other story relevant elements: e.g. is MC perceived as a potential member of the gang or as a weakling? Is he hostile or friendly towards the bad guys? Can he stand up for himself or is he trying to appease a threat?
The problem that all games with both paths (vanilla and NTR) seem to have it that player agency translates into MC agency, which then leads to the problem that "Tyrant" had, namely that MC had to willingly share the women to get to the NTR parts. I don't want that and it's good you neither. I don't think a good solution is to force the player to play a "stupid" MC who is on the edge of getting exposed with a mother who is then actively pursueing the cheating.
For this scenario, it seems more natural when the bad guys are interested in the mother (and all other women), and in order to prevent them from suceeding, MC has to rise up to the challenge they pose.
Just my 3 cents (inflation sucks).
That said, I like the game and will look forward to further updates.
